I was commissioned by my cousins to paint the family dog for their mom for a Christmas present.  I really like the outcome of this one, and knowing the dog pretty well, I know I really captured Koby.  It is 14" x 24"

"Twinkie the Kid" acrylic on canvas 2012

I did this painting for my Mother-in-law's boyfriend.  He once told me a story of how he, when he was younger, danced around as Twinkie the Kid...yellow tights and all.  So Made this little painting for him.  It is 8" x 8"   By the way, this is my last painting I did in 2012.  Hopefully I will do more paintings in 2013!

This is a painting I did for my cousins 5th grade class.  It is canvas stretched around a metal sheet.  The kids in the class made and painted all the magnets to sell at a fundraiser craft fair, they just needed my help with the background.  I have to say, their art makes this a great collaboration.  It is 24"x 24".

This is a painting I did for my son's first birthday present.  Dylan just absolutely loves Elmo. It is 24" x 36"

This is a little cartoon I made for a guy at work who we were giving a really hard time because he was going camping and his wife made him take her pet lizard along with them.  Fortunately, a racoon or other critter did not have it for a snack!  It is 9"x13"

Every 4 years (quadrenial) our family get together up north at out log cabin over the 4th of July weekend and partakes in family olympics consisting of many events.  I made this to hang up at the cabin during the olympics.  It is 3'x1.5'

This is a series of five 8" x 10" canvases of the letters in my son Dylan's name...and an animal that starts with the same letter. It hangs above his crib. I wanted to do a little bit more than just the wooden letter idea, so my wife and I came up with this idea and I just finished it and hung it up today. More paintings for my baby.

This painting is the first of many to come for my baby who is due next week. I just love this image and it looks great hanging in our Baby's room. Just a perfect image for a baby's room and I hope some day he or she will be able to give it to it's own baby. I just can't wait to meet the little one. This painting is 12" x 36".

I painted this as a wedding gift for my good friends who got married at Miller Park recently. They are huge Brewers fans and I knew this gift would be perfect for them. It did however take many, many, many "brush hours" but I am so glad I stuck with it. I love the way it turned out and so did they. It is 16"x20"

This painting is the first of many, I'm sure, for my little baby's room. The little one is due in a few weeks, so we are starting to decorate the nursery. My wife Lynn loved this quote, so while she was gone I made this little sign to hang above the window in the baby's room. It is done on a 1 by 6 pine plank and is 38" long and TRUE!

I was commisioned by a young woman to do a painting of her Terrier, Ozzy. She wanted it 'bright and colorful'. She was happy with it and so was I. It is 3' x 4'

This is a painting I did of the Family Cabin back in 1998. I just came from up there and took a photo of it to put on my site. This saw was used by my Great Uncle Bill, and I didn't want it to rust away in the garage, so I did a tribute to him and the cabin and it stilll hangs there to this day.

I was commisioned to do a drawing of a "life" map. It was done for a guy who wanted to give it to his close friend listing and symbolizing her past accomplishments. It is watercolor, colored pencil and pen and ink...and took a really long time! It is 18"x 24"

This is a photo of the three painting together as meant to be. A buddy of mine wanted some absract art for his wall above his couch, so i helped him out. It is the first time I ever painted any absract painting...it is a lot harder than one would think. Once I got on a roll it was very enjoyable to paint.
