"Bradford Beach" watercolor on paper 1999

This is one of the few paintings I did in 'plein air' (on location). Just a quick study while at the beach with a few friends. I like this and I wish I did it more often. It is 18" x 18"

One of my very first paintings done in 1990 when I was eleven. Have to start somewhere, right? These are still fun for me to look at. It is 18" x 24"

Each panel in this drawing is 9" x 12" and is done with a different medium. Staring from the top, left to right, crayon, pastel, drawing pencil, oil pastel, colored pencil, charcoal, colored pencil and pencil, watercolor, airbrush, conte crayon, marker, torn paper mosaic, watercolor pencil, pencil, charcoal pencil, and colored charcoal. All together it is 3'x 4'. The image is from Nation Geographic magazine.

This drawing is a study of an exsisting painting...for the life of me I can't remember what this painting is called or who the artist is. So, if any of you know that information, please comment and let me know. It is 18" x 24"

This drawing is of John and Yoko from his 'Double Fantasy' album. The writing is a very touching quote by Yoko in 1988. If you click on the image you should be able to read it. Just wonderful, he was the best. It is 18"x 24"

This is a study in technique, this one in charcaol. The sculpture on the left is one I made, and the one on the right is a sculpture my dad made in 8th grade. It is 11"x14".

"XXXI" marker on paper 1997

This I dug out in honor of Super Bowl XLV, this drawing I did in high school for Superbowl XXXI. It is 18"x 24" and it is done all with Sharpie markers. Pretty funny to dig this out and look at it again.

I did this for my good buddy Eric for his birthday which we celebrated on Super Bowl Sunday. This was a poster that everyone signed for him...but his favorite gift was the Packers win!

This painting is to show the ominous scale of the dust storms in the great plains during the 1930's. It was a true american tragedy and sometimes is an often forgotten moment in history. It is a subject not too often depicted in art. This painting is 24" x 36"
