"Birds on a Wire" acrylic on canvas 2009

This painting is very interesting to me. I debated over and over about painting the power lines. I chose not to...I wanted the viewer to see the lines without actually painting them, I think it worked. I am happy with the way the turned out. It is one of the few times where what I see in my head actually materializes on canvas. It is 24" x 18".

"Golden Gate Sunrise 2" acrylic on canvas 2009

This is another version of the "Golden Gate Sunrise"...which I no longer own. So I did another one. This the color swabs in the sky are a bit more chunky like the "Big Sky, Small Farm" painting I did. This painting is 20" by 24".

"Red Tree 2" acrylic on canvas 2009

This is like the small painting two posts ago. This is a more involved version of "Red Tree". First it is larger (16" by 20"), second it has a lot more texture. And the red is a deeper crimson and the yellow is more yellow. I really like the way this one turned out.

"Racing Sausages" acrylic on canvas 2009

This painting is 10" by 16". I did this for our nephew Josh for his 4th birthday. He loves baseball and the Brewers racing sausages so this was the perfect gift for him although I think his mom liked it more.

This is just a little painting 9" by 10". One of the birds I based off of Wilco's Sky Blue Sky album cover. Neat little painting.

"Three Fields" acrylic on canvas 2009

This is one painting on one canvas of three different looks of one scene. It is something that I have never done before and sort of like the way it looks. I don't know why I did it, just wanted to try something new and I am very happy with the way it turned out. The size of this canvas is 24" by 28"...each panel is about 22" by 8"
